Just getting my Wednesday OWH Throwdown Challenge posted. We've been having wonderful weather so I've been outdoors enjoying it. This weekend it is going to get cooler and very windy -- so I'll be busy crafting. I've included a picture of our little peach trees in bloom to share a little of our Spring here in the high desert.
This week's challenge over at OWH Stars & Stamps was to make a "Miss You" card for our heroes. I plan on making a few more to add to my box for OWH before mailing next week.
Enjoy the rest of this evening.

Beautiful card. Love your hearts, big and small and that sentiment is ideal for an OWH card. Fabulous pictures of your trees. Enjoy the weekend
This card is so very pretty and the sentiment is wonderful. Love the hearts and the way the ribbons are folded under, very nice touch. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
As the others have said, it's so pretty and the sentiment is wonderful! It also shows that red and white works for more than just Valentine's Day.
I've never seen folded down ribbons before. I've been stressing out a bit about a wedding card I have to make this weekend for a soldier who's marrying a Marine (I want it to be as special as the occasion!), so I think I'm going to use that idea. Thanks for sharing!
love the sentiment - this will make some hero's loved one very happy.

I really like the "miss you" heart embellishment. With the ribbons, it makes it look like a medal.
Hi Sharon! Your card is lovely, beautiful job with this sketch and MWT challenge :)
