Welcome to Operation Write Homes (OWH) President's Day Virtual Card Making Party (VCMP)! If you like challenges and like to create this is the party for you. The challenges have really been fun. My challenge is the Ninth Challenge -- your are just about to the finish line -- keep up the great work!
My theme for today is All White/Cream with 3 Layers.
The challenge: Create a card using white and/or cream card stock with the exception of the sentiment. The sentiment (if you choose to have one) may be any color. Also there should be layers -- at least three (3) layers of something, i.e. any combo of card stock, lace, ribbon, fabric, or some sort of fiber for texture and interest. Any embellishment must be white or cream.
I made four samples - have fun and go create. I am looking forward to seeing all your wonderful creations. If you get lost, here is the start of the party - OWH VCMP.

Blog Candy Alert: Two will be random drawings. One for taking the challenge and one for leaving a comment here on my blog. The random drawing for the comment will be Tuesday, February 19th and the random drawing for the posting your challenge card will be February 26th. U. S. only please.

Food for Thought:
Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.

There is so much great detail in each one of these. I don't typically think of white or cream when I think Masculine but you really made it work. Thanks for hosting and giving us all something to challenge our creativity this weekend!
Oh so pretty I love this challenge.
Oooh, this is another one that's gonna require brain power. All your cards are incredibly elegant.
This is definitely a challenge and something I've never done! Now...time to get on it! Thanks for being a hostess.
I love this look but don't think I've attempted it before....this will be a fun challenge! Your cards are so pretty, and I especially like the one with the dress form...that tulle is the perfect accent, and the sentiment is PERFECT! Thanks for hosting this challenge and for the inspirational quote!
You have outdone yourself!
What a challenge. I have thought about this idea since we talked and I still haven't done a card! I think madamewong is right. . . it is going to require some brain power!

Gorgeous cards!! The third one is my favorite. :)
Sharon, your cards are gorgeous! I thoroughly enjoyed examining each one of them to take in all of the little details. I like to use a lot of white on my cards, but I've never done a completely white one before, and I really enjoyed making my card. Thanks for thinking up such a fun challenge and hosting it on your blog!

I'm away from my craft area this weekend, but am checking in on the VCMP participants and getting such good ideas. Your cards are so elegant! I recently saw a card that was all black and very intriguing. I love layers and textures, so you've hit quite a few of my buttons with these!

Sharon,
Thank you very much for all the kind words you left on my blog. That was so sweet of you.
Of all the challenges this weekend, the disappearing act challenge and your white/cream challenge were my two favorites. Each of these inspired me to try two new ideas that I KNOW I will be using in cards to come. :)
Thanks again for hosting!
