I am going to make this a quick post as I am in the middle of some other crafty projects. I wasn't going to do today's challenge but then I saw the sketch and Marelene asked "What are you going to put in that big rectangle" I knew I wanted to use a Jolee's Steampunk dimensional sticker I purchased last summer. So I got busy and made my card. I also explored using Tim Holtz distress stains. I hadn't really tried them before but I am really pleased on how they added a little pizzazz to my dry embossed card stock. I'll be exploring more with them and know I will be using them much more often. I had to move the sentiment over to accommodate the length of the sticker and my little industrial brads and gear that I added. I also used some copper metallic ribbon by Shaggee that I have had for years but never used until today. See sometimes it pays to hang on to things that you might use someday. LOL
I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. I hope to get a few more cards made for OWH and in the mail this coming week.
Blessing to you all,
Sharon S.

Oh my Sharon! This is gorgeous use of a sticker! I will have to take a second look at stickers since I have not seen any as pretty as yours. Your card is amazing.
I'm with everyone else, Wow! Love that sticker! Beautiful colors, and I love the metallic ribbon you used as a perfect finishing touch. Wonderful job with this week's sketch!

Wow Sharon, your card is awesome... I'm glad I asked that question. Normally I don't care for steam punk but this I love. So clever to use a sticker and all the metal. The colors are great... well, I love it all. Thanks for playing!
Fabulous Steampunk card! I love that embossed background on it too! Great sentiment for it! (You gave me another idea!)
