OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge 124

Good Sunday Afternoon,

Well it has been a few weeks since my last post.  I've been sort of playing along with the challenges but never seem to get them posted.  I really admire all those that make and post cards daily.   I was busy making my sister some cards for her birthday -- but since then it has just been hit and miss, maybe it is the warmer weather.  I have been spending more time outside by the pool too.  Hmmm just can't come up with any more excuses -- I'll have to work on getting things posted more often.  :-)

Today's sketch was a bit of a challenge finding something big enough to fill that area.  I used the blocking inking technique to help fill in the big area with some color.  I like using this technique -- keeps me from feeling like I have to color the images.  I really like how others color their images -- but that is not my favorite thing to do so I avoid it as much as possible.

I've posted a few of the challenges that did do.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day -- thanks for stopping by.

Sharon
I used SU card stock, stamp for background, small sentiment and DP.  The  Cow Stamp is from
Close to my Heart along with the sentiment Live Simply Love generously.

These two cards are for the "Thank You" Card Challenge.  I liked doing the latte card -- I love to recycle my
coffee cuffs when the opportunity presents itself.

some great cards - I wish I was sitting by the pool - sounds like a great reason not to make cards.

I love them all, but the blocking on the cow is just too, too cool! Who knew a cow could be pretty and romantic? And the sentiment is lovely!

Well you seem to have caught up nicely with your cards and they are all terrific cards at that. I really like the blocking technique in your first card. Have a great week.

Hi Sharon! Thanks for posting your cards. I shamelessly come to your blog for inspiration, I must admit, so I am thrilled to see your latest collection! Each card is terrific. I love that cow collage stamp and the key to my heart card is fabulous. Have fun in your good weather!

Wow, Sharon, these are all fantastic! Love the little tag on the first one. Fix you a little kit to take out to the pool with you - best of both worlds :) Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
