Midweek Throwdown Challenge at OWH Stars & Stamps

Good Friday Afternoon --

Wow my second post this week and another fun challenge.  I've been doing my best to keep up with these challenges -- besides making the cards -- just keeping up with the posting is a huge challenge for me.  :-)

For some reason -- I just couldn't get going on Mother's Day Cards this week.  I was having a tough time coming up with anything I really liked -- I did make three cards and I was stuck on pink -- as you will see.

I had something in my mind when I started each one of these and they all turned out different from what I had envisioned.

Thanks for stopping in.

Sharon

I used SU Designer collection and card stock,
SU Polka Dots embossing folder by Sizzix along
with SU Sizzix Framelits die cut.  Sentiment is
Hero Arts.  Misc ribbon and a bit of bling.

I used SU Framed Tulips Folder, SU Framelits die cut.  Sentiment
is from Inkadinkado.  I don't know who is the  maker of
the Cherry Blossom Stamp.

I used two SU flower punches, ribbon punch and bird punch using
only the branches.  I also used SU Framelits die cut by Sizzix.  The
Sentiment is from Hero Arts along with the bling near the sentiment.
The DP is from Colorbok and the card stock is from SU.

I can sympathize with your struggles. I'm slogging through my last bit of cards for my 1/2 and 1/2 box, and I am also using pink AGAIN, sigh. Well, I can say that even though you had a tough time, your cards came out terrific. Each one is beautiful and will make a lot of Moms happy this Mother's Day. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

WOW Three very pretty cards. Each different and beautiful in it's own right. I sent in my box last week because I just could not do another MD card. Enjoy your weekend.

They're all very pretty cards! I love how cards turn out to be so vastly different from what we envisioned them to be! It's like something takes over your hands for you :) NJ on these!

Very nice I love all your layers on each card. That takes time.
