OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch #58

Here are my first cards I've ever posted (yippee)--and my attempt at playing along with this week's sketch challenge #58.

I had fun trying to come up with color schemes.  It seems I spend more time trying to decide what colors and/or stamps to use before I even get started.  Do any of the rest of you struggle with this?   On my "Howdy" card I used Flair Designs -Horsin' Around Collection and the stamp -- luckily I found an old horseshoe stamp that I have had for ages (long before stampin' was cool).  On the Easter card I used KandCompany Design paper, with a bit of ribbon and stamps from Clear Art Stamps.

Still Learning

Still learning about blogging -- I just had a wonderful tutorial session with a friend of mine -- she has the patiences of a saint -- as she can attest -- I am technically challenged and getting me up and going has been a challenge.  I started this blog because I wanted to participate in the Stars and Stamps Blog Bunny Hop coming up March 5th  so hopefully with some practice after my learning session with Mary I will be up to the challenge.  Just so you all know she has a wonderful website design business -- Wild Web West, LLC.  She can take care of any of your custom web design needs and/or any aspect of this technical world.  I've put a link to her web under my Favorite Links.

Just starting

Well this is my first attempt to set up my blog.  I am being very brave as I am not well versed in all the technology.  My plan is to work on this a few minutes each day - so hopefully within a few weeks I will be a good blogger.  For anyone that checks my blog -- thanks for looking and I hope to have more interesting posts in the future.  Thanks again and have a wonderful day.
