OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge 126 & 127

Hello

I've been away with my husband in our motorhome for a couple of weeks.    I was going to post to my blog while we were traveling but I couldn't get any of my pictures to post.  If anyone is out their that may be able to give me some pointers -- I have both an iPad and an iPhone.  I tried doing it with my iPad -- but couldn't get pictures to go to my blog.   I am thinking I will have to use the iPhone???  Maybe it is just not possible with an iPad.

It is sure summer back here in the desert.  We've had temps well over 100.  We were visiting in the San Diego area -- such a difference in the temps.  It is nice to see family but it is also great to be back home with all of my crafty "stuff" at my fingertips.  When I got back my order from Stampin' Up had come in too so I enjoyed getting to use some of new goodies.  Speaking of that -- I want to say "thank you" to Airborne's wife (Pam) -- I was one of her lucky winners on her blog for some blog goodies.   Wow she out did herself - in her packet was several mini stamp sets and lots of neat ribbon.   I used some of the ribbon she sent me on today's challenge card.  I told her I hoped to make her proud with all the great supplies she sent.

Anyway, I have a few cards to post -- not sure if I like some of the color combos but for the most part I think they turned out okay.   Doodle Pantry is sponsoring this week's challenge and lucky me I had purchased one of their colored digital doodles some time ago (I just have to figure out how to get more printed)  In case you all haven't picked up -- I am technically challenged using my Apple i-things.   lol

Thanks for taking the time to stop in and say hello.

Wishing you all a great week,

Sharon

This is Doodle Pantry pre-colored digital.  The ribbon is from Airborne's wife
The DP is from Flair and I embossed SU card stock with Houndstooth embossing folder.
I printed out the sentiment on my computer -- I don't have a stamp small enough for the
SU tag punch.

On this card I used SU new incolor colors card stock and the mustard and white DP.   The tea cup stamp and sentiment
are from Fiskars.  The DP with the tea cups is from Raspberry Road Designs that I received with my Cardmaking &
Papercrafting magazine.  I really like that magazine - each month you get a little goodie along with
the magazine.

This card is for this Wednesday Midweek Throwdown Challenge -- we were to make
a card using yellow and blue.  The DP is from Raspberry Road Designs and this was a gift
from Cardmaking & Papercrafting magazine.  The polka dots DP is from scrap and the
sentiment is from Hero Arts.  The punch is from SU and the yellow ribbon is from my
thrift shop find.

The feather stamp is from SU along with the sentiment and card stock.
I used the houndstooth embossing folder and SU card stock.

I used the new stamp set from SU - Serene Silhouetes and Argyle embossing folder.
The sentiment is also from SU.  On this card I used the polka dot embossing folder
on the three strips of paper and below I used the basket weave embossing folder
on the strips.   Which do you like?

Sharon, Anything busy time for you. All of these cards are just as nice as can be. You made quite a different variety of cards and put a lot of thought and love into each one. I can tell. Enjoy your evening.

Love your cards. They are all great. I got the free gift from Cardmaking and Papercrafting magazine also! There is some beautiful paper in there. Can't wait until we send the heat here in Denver back down to Arizona where it belongs! LOL

Wow, you've been busy!!! And what a great variety! They're all so different, I couldn't choose a favorite, but the first one made me smile and the green tree is so simple, but still beautiful.

We were at the OR coast (I was going a tad crazy because I didn't have internet) , where temps were in the low-mid 60s, which is my perfect temperature, which doesn't explain how I ended up spending 32 years in Phoenix and 13 yrs in TN. (Oh, I remember! Those places were Sweetie's idea!) When we lived in Arizona, we were always going to S.D. as one of those dreaded "zonies", lol
