OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch Challenge #116

Good Sunday Evening and Happy Easter.

I hope you had a happy Easter Sunday.    We stayed home for this Easter - all of our family lives out of state so I cooked a nice Easter dinner for the two of us -- it seems no matter how many for dinner 2 or 20 - the time to prepare and cook stays about the same.  Clean up is a little faster -- not so many dinner plates and glasses.   :-)

I managed to make one sketch challenge card -- between cooking and helping hubby out in the garage -- (he's busy building some cabinets for his man cave) and that extra hand to hold a measuring tape helps.

I switched gears from the Muscle Challenge cards to pink, blue and kraft for this card -- not sure why but I just couldn't get to thinking or my mojo to do masculine today.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by -- and for past visitors - thanks for your encouraging and kind comments.

Have a wonderful week.

Sharon

The Designer Paper - Beau Chateau,  the ribbon Scallop Dot,  label punch and card stock is all from SU.

I went for pink too since I had already boxed up my masculine challenge cards to take to the PO. Love the honeycomb background.

Oh, I love this! I also really like the way you grounded it all with the chicken wire background! Everything just goes together so well, and the sepia on the rooster keeps him so soft and pretty, too. What a super all-purpose card! You've definitely got me thinking I really ought to try a vintage card one of these days! When I get up the nerve, lol.

Oh, love that rooster! I have some chicken/rooster digis that I may have to break out after seeing this lovely card.
