Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge #102 & Happy New Year

Hope all of you have a healthy and happy New Year.  I did not make any resolutions this year -- just some goals in my mind of what I would like to accomplish this year.  I should write them down and see how well I do.   What about the rest of you?

These are my first cards for 2012 -- this sketch will certainly be one I use this coming year.  I did a "thank you" card for this past Wednesday's challenge too -- but I didn't use the sketch -- but something similar.   Although you will see I've gotten stuck on dogs this week.  :-) My Lab (Sadie) is my inspiration - she usually lays at my feet as I work on my cards.  She is soooo helpful.  I've attached a picture of her at the bottom of this post.

It is nice to get back to my card making after a busy holiday season.

Thanks for taking a minute to stop by --

Warm New Year Wishes!

I used Stamping Up card stock for all of these cards - the sentiment stamps are from Hero Arts.  All but the Lab are from Dog Stamps Plus.  The Lab stamp is from Dragon Fly Laser.

This is the for this past Wednesday's Challenge

Absolutely fabulous cards, but then again you can go wrong with dogs (I call them "babies"). Sadie is just out of this world gorgeous. Aren't we so lucky to have such wonderful inspiration from them? Happy New Year

Very cute! I like that you used 3 different color ribbons. It adds a very nice touch. Cute bone brad embellishment too.

Sadie is adorable and your cards are fabulous! I love the dog stamps you used [they're hard to find] and your color combo.

Sadie is clearly a good supervisor because she directed you to make some adorable cards! Love all your dog stamps, this was a great use of them. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
